About Us

LET'S GET SAUCY.

Welcome to the part of the website that nobody checks, until they do. Let me explain the solution to what I consider a modern-day tragedy. One night, while attempting the standard balancing act of carrying my dinner to the couch, disaster struck. Instead of relaxing, I spent the evening scrubbing BBQ sauce out of the upholstery. I stared at my plate and thought: There has to be a way to stick a sauce cup directly to the plate. We only have two hands—one for the plate, one for the drink. Where are you supposed to put the dip if you don't want it bleeding into your meal before you even sit down? The very next day, this first sketch was born.

FROM PAPER TO PRINT

That rough sketch quickly spiraled into a full-blown 3D modeling rabbit hole. I eventually moved into Blender just to get a working STL file so I could 3D print the very first physical prototype. Why? Because scale is everything, and I needed to test the exact footprint on a real dinner plate. If you look at the market, most suction tableware is built for toddlers—massive bowls that hog half your meal space. I wasn't trying to invent a baby bowl. I wanted a sleek, adult-friendly accessory that claimed just enough real estate for a proper serving of sauce, leaving plenty of room for the actual food.

The Reality Check

Once the 3D printed prototypes finally sat perfectly on a plate, things got very real, very fast. You can’t mass-produce premium, 100% food-grade silicone in a bedroom. This heavy block of metal right here is the very first custom aluminum mold we had machined. Seeing the design transition from a flimsy piece of plastic into a heavy-duty, industrial manufacturing tool was the moment Stick Your Dip transformed from a late-night idea into a legitimate operation.

The "Board of Directors"

But if you want to know who is really running the R&D department, here she is. We aren't backed by some massive corporate boardroom; this is a true family operation. We laid on the floor and built a literal rainbow out of the silicone samples around our heads because that is exactly what our brainstorming process looks like—colorful, a little chaotic, and entirely out of the box. She is my ultimate sounding board and the reason the brand has so much personality. Every new color drop and wild idea starts right here on the floor.
